i bought a living social voucher to a photography studio that needs to be used by july 4 2012. thinking that i have plenty of time before i use it, the voucher has just been sitting in my account; i haven't printed it out or anything. today, i received an email asking how my session with this photographers was. hmmm? i was confused. i went into my account and it said the merchant had marked my voucher as used. WHAT?!? i contacted living social, called and left a message for the photographer, and left a note on the photographer's facebook page. is there anything more i should do? i am gone for the next five days, but i want this resolved as soon as possible. has anyone else had a problem with a merchant like this? is living social good about handling problems?

There is a # associated with the voucher. That's how merchants mark them as used. It's quite possible that it was just a data entry error, but Living Social should be able to help you sort it out.

They should be able to resolve it easily. I had a problem with a vendor on Groupon, and they refunded my money no questions asked.

That sounds like a pain! I had a problem with a Groupon once, and their customer service was extremely helpful & resolved the issue quickly. I hope LivingSocial is up to the same standards... good luck!!
