I'm not sure what is going on with me. Today I celebrated my 115th day on MFP. I have lost 37 pounds so far and I am about 7 pounds away from Onederland. I now sit here with no motivation to workout today when I usually workout out 5-6 days a week. A friend said I need to take a break and just eat right and stay at 1200 calories a day and I will still lose weight but that thought scares me. My mind is all over the place and now I am just rambling. I am sure this will pass and today will only be a memory tomorrow. Do you guys ever just feel tired and need a temporary break?

YES!! For me, it's been like that for days at a time, but it passes. You'll find your mojo again, trust me. This weight loss is addictive, you can't give it up that quick!0

Everyone goes thru this. grab your keys and go for an 30 min/hour walk. Its true one day doesnt make a difference physically but mentally it does.
I gotta bike for that reason. Even when i dont wanna do cardio i get 5 miles in. It just keeps the consistency there.0 -
I think we all go through this at one point. I think you should just take some time off to just eat right. You have done so well and I don't lose your determination and dedication. You can do this! Maybe change the type of workout you do and see if that helps.0

Yes, totally..you see my posts..lol..I take a break that one day..and I am climbing up the walls..at the end of the day..because I want to burn some cals..bad..and then the next day I kill the burn..haha..but sometimes..we need that break..to re-focus and see what we have done to get to this point..that makes us stronger to see all that we've accomplished..no worries..just don't let this day upset you..:flowerforyou:0

Freda, I think it's just today! Maybe it's something in the air because I have no motivation or strength at all!!!!! I only did 15 on the elliptical even though I tried to go longer. I was just plain tire. Tomorrow you will wake up ready to get back to your Zumba!! This will pass!0

I have those days also. Yes they do pass and you start back even harder. For me I change my routine mainly so I can stay moving, challenged and, interested. That way I don't burn out and completely stop. Been there before and its so hard to start back. You.ve been doing great, a small break may be necessary.0

Yep! I think we've all beeen there! Why not take a break from your workout? You're not going to gain 20 pounds because you don't work out for one day. I don't work out at all, stay within my 1200 cals and I keep losing.......19 lbs so far!0

Yes, absolutely, we all go through this. My Beach Body coach helped get me through when it happened to me...she said "in the grand scheme of things taking even a full week off isn't much over a year of working out"...you have to rest when your body needs it, your head might be telling you "yeah, I should work out" but your body is saying "nope, not gonna do it, not today". And that's okay, just keep eating healthy and get back to working out when you're ready. We're here for you!!!!!!!!!0
