I have lost 27 pounds and have gone from a size 18- to a 12. I never imagined that I could do this the healthy way.
I went shopping this past weekend and loved the way the new clothes look and feel...so happy with my accomplishment..
but I tend to sabotage myself whenever I feel I have accomplished something.
I have not worked out for almost a week and my food choices have been pretty bad
Today I kept telling myself, I will workout but kept leaving it till later and didn't get around to doing it !
I feel bloated from all the sodium I must be carrying around and I'm sure I have gained some weight ...
the guilt is getting to me ..I need to get moving !
I cant stop now..I still have way more to lose...rrggggggg!

I do that also. I think its also a learning experience to go through. Once you get past this little "binge" (and you will get past it) then you can reflect and figure out what to do next time.
I've found that its easier for me to just pick up and do it, rather than plan it. You feel bloated? Go take a 10 minute walk. Right now. GO. You'll get yourself back on track.0 -
I feel your pain. Sometimes it is good to take a break from loss, however. Learn to maintain the new weight for a period of time. But choosing to do it is different than simply stopping, and even worse, backtracking!
Congratulations on getting to a 12 and good luck!!0 -
Just get back to it. You've come too far to give up so don't beat yourself up too much. Just hit the reset button and move on...tomorrow! You at least acknowledge your sabbotage so now you can overcome it.0
