I think if you haven't had a gain now, you won't at all. Most people get a gain straight after even if it's just water weight, sounds like your one of the lucky ones!!
It's hard once you break the cycle of exercising to get back into it (i've been there several times) those first few days you just need to force yourself to exercise, don't let any junk food into the house and within a week of doing that you "should" be back in the routine of it.0 -
It varies. I just ate out twice in a row and LOST weight. Sometimes your body reacts favorably to the occasional overage.
Obviously, making a habit of it will = fat.
You may see your weight go up in the next few days but maybe not, assuming you stop overeating.0 -
thats because you were severely undereating before.0

Well what happened with me is I had to gain wt b/c I am anorexic. So the more cals they put me on the more my body burned them..what is your activity level? It will take time but you will gain..They didnt care if we ate junk food(I wouldnt) or not. One kid had oreos and peanutbutter cups with every meals. They say a cal is a cal. Give it some time.. So dont exercise and try to decrease your activity level. That is why in the hospital all we can pretty much do is sit around. Sometimes your body goes into a hypermetabolic state depending on how long you have been restricting. Once you get your weight up then start exercising slowly. also try eating high calorie dense foods0
