Do you ever hide the Scale??

Good morning everyone!
Got a quick question for you guys--
Lately my weight loss has kinda been stalled and for the first month or so I tried to stay focused but when the scale didn't move much, I found myself starting to "slip up". Recently, I recommitted and the scale is starting to move a little but I feel like I'm becoming obsessed with the scale. Often it dictates how I'll feel that day and I'm kinda feel like it's derailing me.

So my question is...have any of you ever quit the scale for a period of time to just focus on making healthy choices? If so, did it work or did it push you closer to failure?

In case you want to know more on what I'm dealing with, check out my blog post on this issue at:

Feel free to comment here or on my blog directly...I'd love some feedback.

Thanks!

Um yes. all the time. I got to the point where I would weight myself eveyday and make sure I lost weight. If not I would say "Screw it". So i finally got to the point that I have my wife hide it from me. then once a wekk she pulls it out for me to weigh in. then once I am done it is gone again. try that. Have someone hide it from you. Or if you cant do that put it up high where you have to get a chair to bring it down. So if you have the urge to weigh in you have to grab the chair put it where you need to and climb up on it. that way it might make you stop and think... do I really want to do this to myself. I am 6'5" so I dont really get that luxery. good luck.
