Question for Polar FT60 owners

I've been thinking of buying a new HRM, and I am pretty sure that I want to go with a Polar FT60.

My current HRM has an annoying issue where the watch will lose the heart rate signal from the chest strap when I extend my left arm straight out above me for more than a few moments.

I am of average height (5' 10.75") and was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar with the FT60 or knows what the maximum range of the signal is? My google skills have failed me in trying to find anything about this.

I use my FT7 while doing all sorts of exercises, including Yoga, which has all kinds of arm movements. I have never had that issue. However, I will say that I have lost signal in the past when the strap isn't tight enough.

I don't own that particular model but I have lost a signel on my HRM when the strap is not tight enough or when I don't wet it before I put it on.

Polar is good but Timex makes some really good models too. I love my Ironman race trainer

At first I thought it was a chest strap issue, but it is repeatable every time if i just stretch my arm out above me after a few seconds it will always lose the signal. So it's just a matter of chance if my arm is up if it happens to be refreshing the signal it will lose it and then take 5-10 seconds to get it back.
