I love mfp, and being here, AND logging in and a part of this site for 500+ days, I really think it's a top competitor with other "Healthy Lifestyle Sites"
So, tell me what are your favorite things about MFP?
Mine:
1. Love that my friends hold me responsible for my actions, and are supporters and give me constructive criticism when needed.
2. Love the forums/blogs. There is usually something interesting going on there! Also how I met some of my closest "friends" on here!
3. I love that it updates your goals based on your success, and how you can alter your goals based on what your own needs are.
Your turn!

I love the app on my phone. If I could only use it on my computer, I'd forget to log things.0

I find knowing my caloric intake so informative. Before MFP I didn't realize how much I could eat if I ate healthy and how little I should be eating if I eat junk. I still get some surprises but I have learnt so much in the past two months0

1. The praise! I’m not going to lie – I like the attention. Where else can I have a bunch of beautiful women tell me that I am looking good, working hard, or to have a nice day.
2. The before, during and after pictures and stories. I love that people share these stories, many of them are just so inspiring and amazing. It really gives me the “if he/she can do it, so can I” attitude. Plus again, I love the attention – can’t wait to post my end result pics, lol.
3. The “friendships” that I’ve made with some of you. Yes, I like the attention (did I already say that- lol) but I also like giving encouragement and compliments. It’s strange because I generally wouldn’t describe myself as an “internet weirdo person” but I really feel accountable – and responsible for giving feedback or a boost when needed, to my friends on here.
I agree with the other comments as well, the convenience, logging, information, positivity – all of those things are great but you can really get that anywhere. I think it’s the people on here that set this site apart – it’s what keeps me coming back. :flowerforyou:0 -
my top 3 faves are:
1. the new friends ive made....some of them encourage me daily and some of them keep it real....you know we all need people or at least someONE that keeps you truly accountable for the things that you put in your mouth....but its done in love and not in a negative way
2. the knowledge i have gained....i have learned the caloric intake of several foods that were shocking, some that were not so shocking and some that were pleasantly surprising.....
3. the success stories.....the success stories keep me motivated to continue to push....i have my days where i just dont feel like getting on another piece of equipment or doing any more weights....but i see the results that many people have had and i know that i can reach my goal too.....
and i love reading the sillyposts by people that brighten my day, like LeanerBeef or Beautybrainsbooty or Kristic84 and all of my other crazy friends.....thanks for making this place a joy0
