Whole Grain Pizza Crust

Servings: 2.…. 12-inch Pizza Crust (8 servings total)

1-1/8 cup Unbleached All Purpose Flour

1 cup 100% whole grain flour

¼ cup milled/ground flax seed

1 tsp dry active yeast

1 cup warm water( 105-115 degree)

1 tsp kosher salt(optional)

1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour, flax seed, yeast and salt. Add water, stirring until combined. Turn dough out on floured surface and knead in remaining flours. Makes a moderately soft dough that is smooth and elastic 3-5 min total).

2. Cut dough in half shape into a ball. Place in a lightly greased bowl. Turning once to grease eh surface. Cover and let Rise in a warm place until the dough doubles in size
(2 ½ to 3 hours)

3. Punch dough down. Turn Dough out onto lightly floured surface. Cover and let rest 10 min. Use as Directed in individual Pizza recipes.
