My husband and I are meeting my daughter's boyfriend's parents for dinner on Sunday at Olive Garden. I have not been there since I have been a vegetarian AND started trying intensely to lose weight. Any suggestions on what to eat that would not completely WRECK my diet? :drinker:

Actually, OG has the nutrition facts for all their items on their website. I just went the other night and it was lovely. I picked out what I was going to have before I got there and didn't go over my calories and even stayed within my nutrient ranges.0

No problem! I got the Seafood Portofino, which I don't think you'd be interested in, but it was so delicious. The salad was really great too. I actually didn't like the breadsticks that much but I like mine really buttery and theirs were probably more healthy. :laugh:0

Im not sure about calorie wise but Olive Garden RULES for vegetarians.
Most restaurants make their soup with beef stock....
but not OG get the minestrone it is amazing and completely vegan
Stay away from the eggplant parmesan, the most fattening item on the WHOLE menu!
Good luck and try the minestrone!0 -
My family is vegetarian. We LOVE Olive Garden. I usually order one minestrone soup. I have water, one garlic bread, and for the main course I would suggest Capallini Pomodoro. My husband loves it.0
