too much protein?

is it bad if i have too much protein? at every meal i try to get at least 10 grams of protein but i eat steak alot so i have more than 46 grams of protein alot of the time, is that a bad thing?

    I have read that too much protein can lead to kidney failure but I am not sure how much that is. I know body builders have a high risk of that and its known to watch out for. But I doubt what you are eating will cause your kidneys to fail!

    No, you're fine. MFP's default protein is low for a lot of people.

    Anything up to the region of 100-150g a day is not going to be too much. Enjoy your steak!

    Too much protein as in like 400-500g in one sitting..then yes that may cause a few kidney issues. Not even Jay Cutler eats that much.

    Pro body builders routinely eat 4-500g per DAY.......but that in no way means its good for you......they also have many other things flowing through them to counter act and balance out the issues that arrise from that......
