Anybody have an idea where I can purchase a broomstick to use for some stretching exercises? I'm referring to a long and solid broomstick, not some cheap piece of plastic you can obtain at K-Mart, that was probably manufactured for this specific purpose. I can't believe I am actually having difficulty locating one of these in my area...

Hardware store? Lowes, Home Depot, Ace?

You might have to purchase the entire broom, but I would look at a hardware store (Lowe's, Home Depot or OSH) for ones with wooden handles.
OoPpSs It didn't show me the other responses until I responded, but we apparently think alike.

I'd look at a hardware store for a long dowel the right thickness for a broom handle (so it's sturdy enough) and have them cut it for you. PVC pipe might work well too.

You might have to whittle it out of a big chunk of wood!

Yeah I did some more research and found out that what I was looking for is called a "dowel." I feel so silly :blushing: but I really appreciate everyone's input on this topic!
