Hi everyone. I didn't plan to ever post anything on here, but today for the first time I saw the section for "motivation" and thought it was great so I'm introducing myself. I've been doing mfp for a week now and I really do feel great so far. This tool has been nothing but educational and motivational. I don't feel like I'm dieting at all...just making better decisions.
I know it isn't just about pounds lost, but I think I'm going to buy a scale anyway...I'm curious what it will say.
Recently I was motivated to step up my exercising from walking to doing the cardio portion of P90X. I just finished day 2 of doing that. It was difficult for me, but I'm really proud I forced myself to do it again.

Wish me luck!

Hi and welcome! I feel the same way about logging. Before I started logging my meals on MFP I really had no idea how many calories I was eating. I also wasn't exercising and used an old hip injury that flared up regularly as my excuse. Now that I have been exercising regularly my hip has actually improved. After logging for a few weeks and making better food choices I decided to switch to low carb eating and I am doing great with it. Different things work for different people and low carb works for me.

Anyway, feel free to add me as a friend if you like, I would be happy to try to be there for you on your journey. Oh, and I just started the P90 program (original as I already owned it) and am feeling really great about it!
