I believe so.0

Thank you! Oooh I hate the cross trainer...but i spose I'd better learn to love it!0

In my gym, the ellipticals and cross trainers are different machines. The ellipticals have pedals that are either stationary or can move up and down and the handles move with the legs. The crosstrainers pedal angles are fixed and flatter and do not have mobile arms.0

Once you do it for awhile, your muscle memory will remember the activity and it will get easier and easier. The problem is: once its easy (3 weeks) your supposed to change aerobic activity.
Good grief, is anything ever easy? ha0 -
I believe they are different. Different programs and ways to use the machine, I found the Cross Trainer a better, harder workout.0

The Cross trainer was more fixed like a stepper, and the arms did move. It told you to "just use arms, pedal backwards", so it focuses on specific parts of your body.0
