Is anyone losing weight doing just Zumba?

    I was hitting the zumba class in my gym twice a week and I loved it. I sweat alot and my clothes definitely fit better. I was at war with my scale during this period so I can't speak to actual numbers.

    Zumba is awesome! As the previous poster stated, a calorie deficit is the key. Zumba is a great way to lose weight. I take it 3 times a week in addition to a hip hop class 2 times a week.

    I don't know but I lost a dress size in a 6 weeks.

    Agreed. I do Zumba at least 3 days a week. It definitely helps, but ultimately you have to be taking in less calories than you're burning.

    To answer your question, I zumba 5x a week and love it... but you won'[t just lose weight by going to zumba and not changing your diet :) You might want to mix it up a little though...and take walks or do some strength classes once in awhile too.
