6 month progress

It's my birthday today, and it's also six months since I joined MFP, so I thought I would indulge in posting progress pictures, if I can figure out how to do that.
I had started losing weight on my own about five years ago, but then I suffered a serious knee injury and gained almost all of it back. After my injury, the weight didn't come off like it had when I first lost it because my eating habits had changed. So here I was in February, weighing in at 200 lbs.
Then my health coach recommended MFP to me, and over the past six months I have been able to make some major changes in my eating habits to lose 40 lbs. Here's me last weekend weighing in at 160 lbs.
And here's the icing on my proverbial birthday cake... my husband started using MFP around the same time I did and has also made some major changes to his eating habits. Here is at Christmas last year, weighing in at 310 lbs.
And here's a picture of him just a couple days ago weighing in at 280 lbs.
We're both much healthier and much more fit than we were before we started MFP, and I am very grateful for how much it has helped us. We still both have a ways to go (probably at least six more months) until we're at our goal weights, but for the first time in my life, I really believe that we can get there and stay there.
