So can someone remind me what we log Body Pump as?

It's been so long since I've done it that I forget what I used to log it as.....

So far I put it under 30 min circuit and 30 min strength training.

Would be good if someone with an HRM can give a comparison to MFP data...... many thanks

I created my own exercise called "Bodypump" and then I just enter the info from my HRM. Usually I burn about 300-350 calories in a 60-minute class.

^^^ my HRM is about the same, 300ish for an hour class. I just log it as strength training.

Hmmm...I've been putting it in as circuit training for 60 mins because I work hard at it and sweat a lot so...i figure the calorie burn is about right, plus i have thick thigh muscles so I think about 600 calories is right.....then again, the more you do it the more calories you burn being idle as well. Also, I always ask my fitness instructor what their opinion is. Everyone is diff so you gotta take into account what you know your own body to be doing.

I usually burn 300-330 in 60 min. using a hrm. I create my own exercise for it too.

I have a HRM and since upping my weights in Pump, I've been doing between 360 and 420 cals in 60mins.

Thanks, my logging calculated it at 280 cals so I'm happy with that. No way it'd burn 600, I don't burn that when I run for 60 mins!!
