Panicing about hell run...

But not because of the running or obstacles...

Its because I made a pledge to overcome my body issues... and so I am running in a costume.

I used to look like this, and when I look in the mirror, its still what I see:


Now I look like this, but still see myself as fat. I want to shut that fat kid in the mirror down. I made a pledge to you all here on MFP to run in a mud run this year wearing a mankini (this is close) and a cowboy hat and boots. Heres to overcoming body image issues...



I might die of embarrassment. Seriously. I am freaking out here.

You look amazing and SERIOUSLY have NOTHING to worry about. You may be a distraction to the girls around you, so you could use that to your advantage. Just be confident and you'll do great!

where 2pairs of socks like soccer socks and fold them down so they dont show in the boots thats what i do if i spend a long day in ethier of mine

Get those costume boot covers so you can wear your runners. bring the boots to pose for the pictures later. You know the ladies are all going to want to have a pic with all of that.
