Interesting article in the Daily Mail - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2043401/Tiny-blood-vessels-provide-heart-help-people-survive-cardiac-arrest.html - when I was suddenly found to need a quintuple graft heart bypass four years ago, my Cardiologist said I was "very special" because I had a number of these coronary collaterals and they had kept me alive! :bigsmile:
