When do you delete friends?

I haven't yet, but I'm thinkin after the third 'OMG I went over my calories today!' or something to the effect of them eating crap all day, every few days then complaining or asking how to fix it.
If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.0 -
4 days wow you're tough I'll have to remember that!! I usually just delete the ones that dont interact with me ever
*holds head in shame* Sorry!!! But youre back now and that makes me happy. lol I'm a turd.0 -
Inactivity for a month or when they are no longer active in supporting or motivating me!0
-
I delete after inactivity for 3 weeks... I keep them if I know them in person. I'll also delete people that don't interact with me. I've deleted a few that were way under their calorie goals..0
-
I only delete due to inactivity (I don't have a set number of days, but if you don't interact with me, and I see a red login number, I'll probably delete), disordered eating (especially if I'm feeling like my own "issues" are being triggered by their posts), and spamming my feed with constant, CONSTANT status updates (I had a MFP who would go on regulat sprees of posting like 4 status updates in a 10 min span. Too much.)0

1. no contact
2. don't sign in for days
3. consistantly very under calorie goal0 -
I'm raising an army. So, instead of deleting those who don't obey my word I simply administer immediate and severe beatings. Occasionally, I will randomly chop of the hand of a friend who isn't performing to my expectations, just to remind the others to never deny me.
So far, all is well.0 -
I delete when someone has not logged on for 5 or more days unless I know they're coming back. I also delete if I see that someone is starving intentionally. That's about it.0
-
I notice that I have a habit of deleting people if they don't sign in for 4 days (or more) unless they have stated a reason why. (Vacation, broken computer/phone, sick, etc.)
What is your limit? Do you keep them all or do you delete like me? Do you just like to have a lot of people on your friends list?
A month of inactivity because you just don't know what's going on . . . or if they start posting stuff about extreme weightloss practices that I just don't believe in.0 -
If they are fit and been gone for a while I will give them a couple weeks or so. If they are personal friends there's no limit. If they have a bad attitude while they are in mid beyatch mode..lol0

I've never deleted anyone, it's not that serious.0

generally THIS^. for #3, i am open to most of what friends are trying to accomplish or what they are going through, but when it's an obvious effort to NOT eat very much, yet a denied ED, i just don't really have the time.0 -
I just wander through my friends list every month or so. If I haven't the faintest idea who they are (they never talk to me, I don't see them posting, etc.), then *poof*, they're gone. I call it the Purge. :laugh:0

I delete people who fill my board with whining and complaining...sorry I don't want to hear it. Put your big boy pants on and deal with it.:flowerforyou:0

I delete for various reasons. Usually it's only because they haven't logged in for x amount of time and never talked to me anyways. But, there are always exceptions. The people that I KNOW are nice I will keep around forever and ever no matter how long it's been since they logged in. Just depends on the person.0

3 months. Because life happens.
I usually try to send a message first as well.0 -
If you do not pay me attention, you will be deleted...unless you are just too good looking to delete. And of course, if you do not log in and interact on a regular basis, you will be deleted.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Profile pic0 -

If you dont interact with me then I will delete. Also 2 weeks of inactivity. I only have a few friends for this reason. I like ALL my friends and dont want to get lost or side tracked with a facebook like page... (i no longer facebook)0

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA just can't let it go can you?0 -
I generally ask my MFP friends a series of calculus questions on Fridays. If they miss any, CUT.
Also, I will go through my list and hit my friends up for money. If they don't cough up some cash, CUT. It's hard remembering a different sob story each month, but I write good.
Finally, socks with sandals. Sorry. CUT.0 -

Judge us not by our combo of socks and sandals, but by the quality of them.0 -
I only delete family and real life friends. Everyone else is safe.0

I'm fairly new here but I'm trying to keep my friend list on the lower side so I can give the best support I can to people. The only reason I think I would delete someone is if they really had unhealthy habits (under eating & over exercising, constantly eating junk, negative attitude). I'm open to everyone doing what works for them & I want to help others but I also have to look out for myself and that kind of stuff can put me in a bad place.
And PS: Wearing Affliction shirts is definitely an unhealthy habit. Haha.0 -
I don't delete anyone unless I notice that they've deactivated. some people just need a break.
recently i took a break and stated a reason why (without going into the specifics of my drama) and I had tons of people delete me.
*shrug*0 -

I'm fairly new and haven't deleted anyone yet but this would be my biggest reason. I don't want to hear it IRL why would I want to read it here where I'm trying to stay focused and positive.0 -
I scrolled through a lot of these (some of them VERY amusing, btw) and was surprised that fewer people said what Mallory0418 said, which is what I was thinking. The only person I've had to delete so far was someone who was SO negative. She had only been on around 2 weeks and already was pouting about a bunch of b.s. We all hit our tough days, or touch stretches, but the whole point of the site is giving positive vibes and support, and getting those in return. Have a great MFP weekend folks! Loves you all.0

Haven’t had to delete anyone yet but now I have to check the activity of my friends like a boss. I did notice that some of them are inactive. lol
