I just started MFP a few days ago, looking for friends and serious motivators to keep me going and helping me reach my goal. Right now, I am struggling with sugar withdrawal, feeling sluggish, tired. I am at the highest I have ever been, 230, 5'8 and can hardly look at myself in the mirror anymore. I want to shed this "monkey on my back" once and for all, and feel good, INSIDE and out!

Welcome to MFP!! I've really been active a little over a month and it really helps keep me on the straight and narrow!!

    Hello and welcome to MyFitnessPal!
This is definitely the place to be if you want/need support :)
So, you are cutting back, or cutting OUT sugar?
Sometimes you need to ease off of something instead of going cold turkey. For one, it helps to lessen the urge to binge because you have been depriving yourself, and 2, because as you slowly cut back you find the urges, cravings lessen naturally.

Congrats on deciding to finally rid yourself of the monkey :)
Have a wonderful and healthy weekend!
