is my motto for this year---- no more denial, not seeing my lack of discipline for what it has been, and pining away for my youth when weight was not an issue and hormones were not waging this war against me! i have to take responsibility for a daily committment to accomplish what i have set forth for myself and take the baby steps to make it manifest.

Welcome fellow newcomer! I'm on Day#11 of a 30-day conditioning phase; I've been to the gym every day and watched what I eat like a Nazi--but I will lighten up after 30 days.
If you really commit to this you will see and feel almost immediate results. I "weigh" 6 pounds less than I did 10 days ago, but I know alot of that is water weight so I don't exactly count it.
I LOVE this website--it's a big support group and everyone is so nice and so supportive because almost everyone has been where we are at some point or another.
Good luck and welcome!
