I've been using the app on my phone for 2 or so weeks and am just now checking out the website. Im a mom of a just turned one year old. When I had my daughter I was under my pre pregnancy weight almost right after....then I had issues producing enough milk for my daughter so I uped my calorie intake and ate smaller meals more often...while the smaller meals more often is supposed to be the better way to eat...it also means it can easily get away from u...being a new mom I wore mostly stretchy comfy clothes..so I guess I didnt notice the gain of weight that was happening....it wasn't until we went to have my daughters first bday pictures taken by a pro that I really seen it...I looked at the pics of me and my daughter and almost gasped..
.I guess I did think id gained some but not as much as I had. I decided after two weeks of being sad that its ok..ill just take it off...in reality I shouldn't be sad...I successfully breastfed my daughter until a year old...so what if I have to work to take some weight off...its worth it and I don't regret anything...im still breastfeeding (working on a 6 month weaning plan..doing its slowly so there no shell shock lol) so I can't be too intense in my diet and exercise. I've been aiming my calorie intake at half a pound a week loss...however I've lost 8lbs in the first two weeks or so...guess I wasn't adjusting the calorie intake to one for a breastfeeding mom...sooo im eating less than I think.
I started at 5 foot 5 220 pounds and a size 12..some 14s (I know most people at my height and weight are in slightly bigger sizes...even when I try to follow measurement guides on size charts I end up getting a size that's baggy on me...I've got a weird body I gess lol)...after the 8lbs loss in solidly in a size 12 and can fit one of my size 10 jeans that's kinda got some stretch..
I've set my goal at 200lbs for now..that will have me fitting most size 10s...I don't need to go below a size 8...if I do I look sick
Well that's my whole story...didnt mean to be long winded lol
