One DVD members suggested to me is: 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels...found at any discount store...ie.walmart...for about $7. 3 levels, do each for 10 days! only 20 minutes a day...

It kind of depends on your fitness level and what you like to do. There are workout videos for walking, salsa, bootcamp etc... Just pick an exercise that works for you and one you will want to stick with :)

Another idea is Couch to 5K. It is a progressive plan that gets you into running more where you start doing different increments. C25K is the app on my phone. There are also podcasts. I used to always run, but lost a lot of cardio endurance after years of not really exercising. I have been doing this for 4 weeks now and I feel amazing!

A great beginners work out program is Slim in 6 by Debbie Siebers. Both my wife and I absolutely loved it!

If you have cable with on demand some of them provide JM workouts free. If your thinking about running check out C25K, myself and a few others are starting it this week, its a 9 week program that gets you from the couch to running 5k.

There are a ton of great workout dvd's on the market. As someone said above, depends what you are looking for. Though I know nothing about them. Jillian Michaels is popular. Though they are a bit more expensive, Beachbody as a ton of really fun DVD's that will give you amazing results. Stuff like the P90 series, the Insanity series, Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire.. There is some zumba dvd's you can look into. People seem to love those.

There are a lot of different things that I do to lose weight. I use my Wii Fit (which is expensive if you don't have a Wii), I have an Elliptical at home. I got mine at WalMart for a great price and I love it! I have some free weights at home, that you can also buy at WalMart. I go to Zumba once a week. I know some people go several times a week but that gets too pricey for me. They do have videos for Zumba but I find it's not the same as actually going to a class. There are a set of DVDs called Core Rhythms that has a lot of ballroom dancers from Dancing with the Stars on them. They have a segment on the DVD that breaks down each dance step and there are different levels that you can do. When all else fails, go out for a walk. The important thing is to get your heartrate up. Good luck to you on your journey. I love it here and hope you find the support and success that you're looking for!
