I have so many... Where to start?

I'll start with my recent find: chocolate Weetabix with Dairylea. I grew up with Weetabix and margarine, which people also find weird, but my latest combo is amazing

I used to make peanut butter and dried apricot toasted sandwiches, which smell foul but taste divine.

And my all-time weirdest, in Japan, sweet red bean paste and mochi (chewy rice cake) pizza with cheese and tomato sauce as normal. That was very, very weird indeed. It was on the menu of a tiny little, underground restaurant that smelt a bit funny...

That must be a southern thing b/c I did that as a kid. And I also used to love fritos on PBJ sandwiches, but must not be that odd if lots of other people do it.

I did that when I was younger, esp with soup but not always.

    - Protein powder and coffee.
    - Fermented Tofu with Spinach stir-fried (this may seem normal to Chinese people)
    - Raw Blue Crabs pickled in rice wine. (my in-laws eat this).
    - Lo Mein noodles with Sweet and Sour Sauce.
    - Peanut butter on Noodles with a dash of spicy sesame oil, parsely and sesame seeds on top.
    - Pickled spicy radishes on toasted English Muffin (not so weird to Chinese folks)

(if I whipped out some of the weirder Chinese dishes, this discussion thread might sound like recipes for Fear Factor. Different strokes for different folks.)

Never did this with Jelly, but to the rest...YUM.

When I worked at McDonald's, people used to order Sausage Biscuits w/ grape jelly. I want to believe they were taking the sandwich apart and eating the biscuit separate w/ the jelly, THEN eating the sausage.
  • you should try..it's heaven!
