Ok so I did my first run tonight and of course I had an epic equipment failure so now I have no clue of what to do for my calorie count. My pedometer failed to register past the first 45 steps so I have no clue on mileage, calories, or steps. To make it worse I was on a running track and kept doing laps of only a portion of it so no clue how far the lap is either. Help!?!?!?!?

Just do the walking brisk pace for however long you did it.0

If you did the Day One of C25k, it's approximately 10 minutes of running and 25 minutes of walking. Just plug in your best guess on your pace, ie 25 minutes of walking 3 mph, 10 minutes jogging 5mph.
Most tracks are (I believe) a quarter mile in length.0 -
Next time you run and you're able to calculate your pace (minutes devided by distance), record it somewhere in case this ever happens again. Then you can just times it by your total time the next time0

and here's a calorie calculator also: http://www.healthcalculators.org/calculators/calories_burned.asp0

Thanx Everyone. The track I was on isn't a regular track so I'll just go walk it tomorrow or Sunday and make sure the pedo is working or try to find an app for my phone to track it next time.0

The app Runkeeper is available on the iPhone and the droid phones.
I love it and have been using it for almost two years.
It tracks distance/speed, etc and maps it out for you.0
