Homemade exercise sandbag?

I want to make a homemade exercise sandbag, the one with the handles, as seen on bodyrock.tv.
Has anyone ever made one?
i was thinking a pillow case, loads of duct tape and contractor bags. Just wondering if the duct tape will get sticky and get all over my hands...
If anyone has any ideas, send them my way!

What you need is a military duffel bag. Canvas is super strong and will be perfect for you.

Search Google for this "Rothco Olive Drab Top Load Canvas Duffle Bag - Standard Size"0 -
If you are handy with a needle or sewing machine you could probably make a cover for a sandbag out of vinyl. I use duct tape for lots of things. You could always go over it with electrical tape if you are worried about the stickiness.0

I am going to use an old bag of mine and just fill it with kilo bags of rice. Fingers crossed it works otherwise I may be cleaning rice for a year LOL0
