I was just wondering is it bad I go over my protein? By like say 30? this does not happen very often but I know protein is something I want so good---bad, too much---too little.
Thanx in advance

Protein limits for MFP is low. Mine says I should be at 86. I eat 185 grams per day.

Just don't go over the sodium, fat, cholesterol etc. But fiber and protein are more like minimal guidelines really.

Take your weight in kg and times it by 1.4 (if you go to the gym often) or take your weight and times it by 0.8 if you don't go too often.

Change your setttings... the default is way too low anyway.

Mine are currently 40% protein, 30% carb, 30% fat

    thanx for all your advice
  • i wouldn't worry at all, i always go over mine
the way i see it is, you burn more calories when your body digests the protein so its actually beneficial to eat more of it especially if your exercising and what not. also helps support lean muscle!
