Heya, anyone have some suggestions for a small dinner around 300 cals? I really pigged out at lunch (Hawaiian buffet:) so my after-walk meal will have to be quite small tonight.. Thanks for any advice! :]

Soup! Vege, tomato, french onion (with not much butter), potato and leek, minestrone, chicken n vege... they're easy to make with bought stock and much more filling and comforting than a salad.
Also, stir fried veges with a bit of low cal seasoning (soy sauce, oyster sauce, dry sherry, pepper, garlic, grated fresh ginger, whatever else you feel...), not much oil and a wee bit of prawn, fish, chicken or turkey. No noodles or rice needed.0 -
This is my go-to salad, all for approx 350 cals.
Tre Stelle - Light Feta Cheese, 1.5 cm cube (30 g) - 35 cals
Walnuts - Raw, 10.05 g - 72 cals
Craisins-Dried Cranberries - 10 grams - 33 cals
Walmart - Ready to Eat Oven Roasted Chicken Breast Strips, 72 grams - 102 cals
Salad - Spring Greens Mix, 3 cups - 15 cals
Kraft Signature Raspberry Vinaigrette - Salad Dressing, 3 tbsp - 90 cals0 -
When I do this, I go to Panera:
1 bowl of black bean soup: 110 calories
1 half Greek Salad: 190 calories
NO bread
300 total calories!
or you could totally make the same things at home: a basic soup and salad!0 -
I'd do 4-6 ounces of grilled chicken or fish and a bunch of veggies--a salad with light dressing and some cooked veggies. Depending on cals you might even get a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on your veggies!0

Hi! i found a lil recipe and now I am addicted and its super easy to make and you can eat a bit of it and its fresh and lean!!!!
I call it turkey veggie fry...
1lb of ground turkey
zucchini
tomatoes
corn
garlic
peppers
and you of course can add whatever veggies you like but cabbage and onions are good too.
Fry it all up and season to taste and I like lots of fresh garlic as well...then eat up and under 200 cals a serving and its my go to food. Good luck!!! Enjoy!!!0 -

Aww, me too!! Or at least I have been a ziggy-lover since I was first made aware of his big-nosed existence. "Way back when" they used to sell stuffed ziggy dolls I basically stole my sister's doll from her, and that is how I first came to know Ziggy, teheh. :O)
P.S. Thank you all for your suggestions! You are all awesomesauce.0
