this used to always come on BBC america, i was wondering if anyone else was as huge a fan of this as i was. for those who don't know, it's like the british (better) version of CSI..do you guys know anywhere online where i could perhaps find episodes so i can catch up? does it still come on?

It hasn't been on British tv for a long time (a good few years) so I don't think they're even making any more. I've just had a look on the BBC website and it brings nothing up at all. I know what you mean though I loved that programme too. And Waking the Dead which they also stopped :(

I know Netflix had it...I don't know if they do any more since I closed my account with them. Wire was also one of my favourite series, but like all good things it came to an end. It was cancelled after series 6. :( But you can watch back episodes through Netflix I think. I just looked at the "special" places on line where one can usually find things to watch in a manner of questionable legality, but the series is not available on any of them except for 1channel.ch, and the only links there are to MegaVideo which is a pay service.

    Good luck. Cheers.

waking the dead has recently just had a spin off done from it, it just been aired here in the uk, i never got to see any of it so can't give much details i'm afraid but i think it was called body farm or something similar, hopefully somebody will come along and be able to add to that

please note i'm mentioning waking the dead because a previous poster commented that they liked it as well, and not because i have completely lost the plost

Wire in the Blood was an ITV show not BBC but they must be showing it anyway. It had 8 series and finished in 2008

Waking the Dead was awesome, I was sad to see that go, there is a spin off just started with Eve though as the same character called "The Body Farm".

I don't know about the wire, but the walking dead is coming back soon (don't know when exactly). Check sidereel.

I really didn't like the Body Farm, but loved waking the dead. Wire in the Blood is from a series of books about Tony Hill by Val McDermid. There are loads more books that TV shows.

Look out for Luther (BBC) on in the US at the moment, it's stunning :)

I didn't like it either, I think I was actually expecting Waking the Dead in some way shape or form but just got a hard as Eve instead :( disappointed much?

I was really disappointed :(, the current lot of crime drama stuff is pretty rubbish. I also enjoyed Silent Witness.

Waking the Dead is finished, it isn't coming back. Hopefully Silent Witness is though.

Wire in the Blood was an ITV program so, even though it was on BBC America, you wouldn't find it on the BBC iPlayer. Your best bet is ITV Player but if that's anything like the BBC one it's region protected, ie you can only watch it from the UK.

Dvd's are you best bet. I didn't much care for that drama actually, I felt it was a poor substitute for Jimmy McGovern's 'Cracker' starring Robbie Coltrane, catch that if you get the chance.
