While I've got hundreds of reasons to be healthy, I often times will focus more on losing weight than I do overall health...kinda counter productive sometimes. So in order to motivate myself to simply do the healthy steps, I've come up with a reward plan of points- for every healthy activity/action I take I earn points. After so many points are racked up then I can 'cash them in' to reward myself on something small or save the points and get/do something larger.

Heres a sample:
For every day I stay within all calories/fat/sugar/carbs/sodium- 75 pts
For every day I meet fiber requirements- 25 pts
For every day I meet water intake- 25 pts
For every 30 mintues of excercise- 50 pts
For every additional 30- 50 points

When I earn enough I can ge a magazine, Itunes downloads, a book, a sugar free ROCKSTAR ( I know this seems counterproductive since its not terribly healthy, but I love these things and havent had one in almost 3 weeks- a record), a facial, book, CD, etc.

So far it seems to be working pretty well ( only been 2 days) becuase I'm thinking of it a lot. I love some new songs coming out recently and I cant wait to download them, so it is pretty motivating to keep on track with things.

I've always been the type to reward myself for weight lost, and I never would get my rewards becuase I plateau so much get frustrated and then fall off the wagon...:noway: This way, even if I'm doing some healthy habits, I can still get rewarded!

Mmmm, I looooove XS!! I haven't had one in over a year, though! I used to work with a business group that sold them and I always had three or four with me. I need to order a box.

I recommend the Cranberry Grape! :flowerforyou:

Never heard of XS, but the ROCKSTARS I drink are sugar free, no carbs and have LOADS of vitamin B6 and B12 in them, now that I think about it.
Maybe I'll look for XS- thanks!
