Almost a week on target :)

I've sooooo done this before but for some reason I seriously feel a fire burning in me to make it to the finish line this time.

Some things I've done to help me so far:
1. join this group! Hey!
2. Made a list of every Monday's date from now until my goal weight and wrote my goal weight for that Monday next to it (striving for 2lbs down a week). I taped it to the refrigerator. Yes. My husband now knows my weight. (walk of shame)
3. Pray. I seriously believe in the power of prayer.
4. I've actually made myself something a little different, if needed, at family dinner time. Like if we're having grilled chicken, pasta, and cooked spinach, I'll just skip the pasta. So hard but so worth it.

So basically this time I'm not dieting in secret. My weight is posted on the fridge, for heaven sake! I think in the past I dieted in secret so if/when I failed I wouldn't disappoint anyone but me. What a sabotaging way to think. So there's absolutely no way I'm not following this thing through now because my whole family now knows I weigh as much as a new born elephant, thanks to my handy dandy fridge list.
