Hi! Just joined this week. Got to drop a stone or two as it has crept on over the last few years and now I am nudging 15st and that's not good. Am playing with the site at the moment and plan a sensible diet (hate that word) from Monday based on less calories to lose a couple of pounds a week and light exercise, see how it goes.

Hi and welcome. I believe your approach is right on - healthy lifestyle and slow, steady weightloss. It works for me so far. Good luck, I think you'll find this site really useful.0

Hi and I am too a NEWBIE. My son and daughter got me started on this site. I weighed 408 pounds about 13 years ago and it has taken me all this time on fad stuff to get to 288.2 pounds. Don't know how many stones that is but I bet I can build a house or maybe a city with them. Anyway, this type of lifestyle change and filling in the details of the day really do help. Just keep on keeping on. Good Luck SouthernDave.0

Thanks for the warm welcome! Seeing as many of you are from across the pond, 14lbs is 1 stone, so I am 206lbs, nudging 15 stone. Need to lose about 21-28lbs overall.0
