Discovered a great lunch

I hate brown rice so I was experimenting today.

1 container of ready to serve brown rice -170 calories
1 pouch of chicken of the sea crab-45 calories
and cajun seasoning to taste <--- I like spicy

Anyways, what a great combo. and not for too many calories. It is really filling. I think I might eventually add veggies to this mix.

    MMMM, I love brown rice. A friend told me that brown rice & lentils cook the same, so I put 1 cup brown rice, 1 cup lentils, and 4 cups water into the rice et voila! A great dish. I used some in a wrap today with veggies. Crab is a great idea too, thanks! I've been pushing jade pearl rice lately, it tastes more like white rice but has been fortified with fiber--you might try that. :happy:

    Today, I tried one tray of lean cuisine turkey and vegetables, a bowl of salad and one piece of 90 cal bread with smart balance spread. What a yummy and filling meal!
