Hi, all. My name is Carolyn, and I'm just trying to get fit and healthy. I need to lose about thirty pounds, but more importantly, I need to get my body in shape to be able to kayak and hike and run and play and generally enjoy activity. Right now I can only enjoy activities to a certain extent - then I get tired or out of breath. I've started an exercise program - right now I'm using the P90X DVD program - and I'm trying to watch my diet, not just for weight loss but also for quality. I want to eat good foods and in proper proportions of carbs/proteins/fat. That's basically why I'm here. I hope to find buddies to proceed along this Fitness Journey with me! Always so much easier with support from others than alone!
