When cooking for my family its like everyone wants something diffferent, while i'm trying to eat heathly and watch what i am putting in my mouth the rest of the gang wants something different so my question is do i make them just get over it and eat it or cook something totally different for them? Its not like it is different food just different ingredients. There are nights where i will just eat a frozen dinner and cook something for them but i really don't want to eat out of a box all the time:happy:

I say make it but don't tell them what the ingredients are.

For example: making meatloaf.... switch out the ground beef for ground turkey. They won't know the difference.

My family gets two choices at every meal - take it or leave it.

What I make is what is for dinner. lol My husband and son are such great eaters. They eat anything I make. My daughter is picky, but she is 4. I don't tell her what is in things and she will eat it and say it is yummy.
  • I definitely agree with switching beef for turkey in all places possible. If it is a meal that you really taste the meat, then add 1/4 beef for the flavour.

When it comes to veggie-side-meat meal, I usually make myself the chicken and veggie, and then I will add scalloped potatoes or something for my husband...

They'll eat it when they're hungry enough. Or learn to cook, one or the other.

Well that one is tricky, so one day a week for each family member I make what they like with in limits, and the rest they eat what I want!
