No, however I'm using a set point for calorie intake that takes in my average activity level including exercise. So in short, I'm not eating them back but my daily intake is set slightly higher and I'm simply not recording calories burned.

I eat my calories back. I am doing strenght training so I am doing my best to have no deficite
Me too! When I can't eat them all I usually get around half of them back (even on high burn days). I do A LOT of strength training. If I don't eat my calories back then I'll lose the muscle I'm trying to build.
I'm sure not eating them back works for some but you'll also have the "skinny fat" problem most likely.
You'll be thin but will have extra flabby skin everywhere...
You have to feed your body to make muscle and burn energy.

Not really. I lose about 10 pounds a month without eating back exercise calories. I often eat a little more on days I workout if I am hungry that day. But no where near the calories I have burned. I play to start eating back a few more on a regular basis. I have less to lose than I did in the beginning.

My exercise calories are fairly high (between 700-1300 M-F) and I allow 1200 calories a day intake. So, on average I have somewhere between 1900-2300 calories to consume in a day. I will typically eat around 1400 calories after all is said and done and I'm averaging 1-2 lbs a week. So, I'm doing something right for my body. There are days where I'm just not hungry, so it makes it difficult, but it's very rare for MFP to "yell at me in red" when I complete my log for the day; so that tells me I'm doing okay by their book! ;)

NOPE! In order to lose a pound a week you have to burn 500 calories a day. That's my october challenge...typically I burn 300 calories a day :-) i'm not eating all that effort back.....if i want to treat myself ever, i plan ahead :-)

See this is something I am still trying to figure out! I have found when I dont eat back all my calories I lose weight. When I do eat them back I stay the same. So for now I am not eating them back!

I don't genenrally eat them back, although this is not a steadfast rule, if I'm still hungry after I've eaten my daily count I'll maybe have some of them.

I think everyone is different and things work different for them. I seem to lose a steady 1 - 2 lbs if I don't eat them, I'm happy with that.

If that changes, I'll relook at things.
