Hey everyone
Wondering if any of you have any ideas. So my car had a mouse in it back at my old house, we caught it and kept my car cleaned and everything. Well we moved and we are near woods with tons of squirrels and chipmunks, and everyday I go in my car and find poop on my floor and seats. I have 2 kids and its not healthy and no matter how clean I keep my car they come in. any idea how to repel them????? Thanks in advance.

fabric sheets... I used to work at a dealership, and that's what the service manager would tell people. Also, you need to use your vehicle on a regular basis... or at least start it up once a week.0

You can't really keep them out. We have a house in the country and they get in everything (cars, suvs, trucks) The Best way, and i've experimented, is to get one of those cruelty free mouse traps that holds like 15 mice and put dog food in it. Put lots (cover the entire bottom well) because if you don't they'll kill each other and you'll have a bloody mess in the morning which is also not healthy on so many levels. In the morning, and I do it first thing, open the trap well away from the vehicle and let them go. There are now no more mice in the car:)
You have to do it every night but it's really the only way to get them all out. If you leave any in there during the day they will nest, have babies and, eventually die. The smell from the dead ones is Unbelievable!!! That's when disease comes in. It is super gross. They get in the vents and everytime you turn on the air you get a blast of dead mouse hair (it falls off when they die) and dust in the face:(
If you use the kind of trap that kills them you'll only get one or two (however many traps you set and some of them will just figure out how to get cheese out of the peanutbutter without setting off the trap...) and still have some in there.0
