Usually I stop myself at about 1250 cals or there about... should i eat more or just leave it there? i have my eating set up where i have breakfast at 8, a snack at 10, lunch at 12, snack @ 2, dinner @ 4, and then snack @6 I try to not eat past 6 but im not perfect and usually dnt get last snack till 7 or i just skip it depending on how late i ran on my other meals. So what are your thoughts on stopping at 1200 or getting closer to 1800?

I would stay closer to 1200 cal, but it depends on how many times and for how long you workout, also what kind of workout you do and what is your main goal, to loose or tone up, build muscle. I am trying to loose, and eating around 1000-1200 cal, working out 6 times a week at least an hour doing weight lifting some cardio. Hope it helps0

Do you workout at all? Do you eat back your calories? How many times, how long and what kind of workout you do?0

sorry i just edited my last post. I have been working out about 1 day a week but today until dec 1 I am going to go at least 3 times a week to the gym or for a jog. no i do not eat back calories because i usually plan my meals out and feel as if i am forcing myself to eat that already. I am starting a total body workout using machines at the college gym and also doing either tread mil or elliptical0

When I first started my goal was set at 2 lbs a week which gave me over 2000 cals to work with. I ate around 1500 cals a day. Then as I lost my goal got lowered. I'm at 1450 cals a day now, but I only eat 1200 cals. I generally try to net lower than 1200 cals with exercise for several days in a row (possibly 2 to 3 weeks even) or I'll just skip the exercise one day instead. Some weeks you will lose a little more and some weeks you will lose a little less, but the average comes out between 2 to 3 lbs a week. Some people think that you should eat back your calories, but if you monitor your weight daily you will be able to see when your metabolism slows down and that would be the day that you net your calories higher with more food or less exercise. You can do it however you want, but this method works pretty well for me. Best of luck! I'm trying to lose 20 lbs by December 10 so I'm right there with you.0
