I am a waitress and I was just wondering how many calories I burn in a 6 hour shift? I've used a pedometer to determine how many miles I walk in a shift and it's usually between 5 and 6 miles. I usually am walking at a very fast past...between 3.5 and 4, and about half the time carring some object (i.e. trays of food or drinks) Does anyone know how I should calculate this? Thanks

Set your activity level to active or very active, and then MFP will calculate that into your calorie goals.0

I wear a pedometer and when I get to 10,000 steps I have burnt 250 calories according to my weight and the chart on pedometer.0

In my opinion, work is part of your activity setting not exercise. Set your activity level to active instead of logging it as exercise.0
