Losing weight when NOT working out???

I am a daily weigher...I know some people disagree with this but it helps me. I just keep a daily log of my ups and downs. I am 'allowed' 1,460 calories per day and I've noticed that if/when I go over by 200-300 calories on some days..the next day I'll lose weight??!! And usually these days when I go over I haven't logged any exercise. The days when I do stay within my calorie limit and exercise is when I'll be at my highest weight or do not lose at all.
I'm just a little confused to what my body needs. Does this tell me that the 1460 calorie limit is low for my daily needs or is it just it takes my body a little time to reflect my lower calories and exercise?
Does anyone else have this same problem or is it just me?? I'm really close to where I want to be, but my actual goal is about 4-5 pounds away! Just thought maybe someone would have some really excellent advice for me!

I was only eating around 1300 calories and my weight loss slowed down so I upped my calories to 1600-1700 and I started losing again. I also upped my exercise and I eat back about half of my calories. I still lose around 6 lbs a month. Good luck!0

I'm going to guess yes. Try a couple hundred more for a couple of weeks and see. I can lose at 2000.0 -
When I first started I was only eating 1200 then dropped about 10-15 pounds quickly, then it slowed down considerably! Upped my calories and lost another 15 pounds. I try to eat all of my exercise calories back if I can. I used to work out every day, but I usually work out every day after school (I'm a teacher) for 20-40 minutes and then sometimes on the weekends I might workout if I have the time or the energy, lol!
Thanks for sharing your story, wondering if I should go up now????0 -
