Setting goals?

I would love some hints, tips or suggestions for setting goals. I'm not sure what to set as goals or even rewards.

Any input would be appreciated :)

    I tend to jump right to end goal, but for me I am thinking I will set mini goals in around 10 pound increments... I lost 7 lbs in the last week and I feel good about that.

    I am also keeping in mind that I haven't been under 200 in years. That is probably my first huge goal. At 197 I will be in the overweight category. I am also looking at the number where I am at a "normal" weight.

    Rewards.... I have no idea. I will be reading what others say too.

    I like to follow the S-M-A-R-T principle for goal setting.

    Specific
    Measurable
    Attainable
    Realistic
    Timely
