So the weather is starting to cool down around where I am, and I was just wondering, what do you all wear during the cold months to run or walk outside?? I have never stayed committed enough to keep running during the winter but things are a bit different this year, and I want to be ready!

    Under armor or Nike Dri-fit

I broke down last year and bought a nike pro combat dri-fit shirt that is made for running outside. It does not seem very heavy but it really keeps me warm! In fact, last winter many times I only ran with that shirt on and kept plenty warm. Another suggestion is to stalk up on some exercise dvds. That way there are options when the weather is keeping you in doors. I use all kinds but some that are good for any fitness level is Leslie Sandsones walks or walk/jogs. Good luck.

Yeah, knock offs of cheap quality at wal-mart.

They may be knock-offs, but they work great and cost a whole lot less for those of us who don't have big bucks to spend. My Brooks are the only thing I'm willing to spend that much money on... just sayin.

I love my under armor. I know it's a bit pricey but well worth the $$. If you're really serious about going outside in the cold weather I would definitely invest in a good outdoor running/walking wardrobe. Go to a running store and they'll help out.
