Comparing past measurements and weights!

Wow, so I have been beating up on myself all summer about my weight. Sure, it crept up, but I didn't gain ALL my weight back. I went from 137 to 152 when I was originally 167.
Well, as it turns out....I went on my old account (this one) and compared my current measurements from my weight on the past. I know this isn't completely accurate, but, it does turn out that I was "142" with these same measurements when I'm "150" now.
Then I remember! My scale was 5 pounds off when I went to the doctor at the beginning of my diet AND when I fell off the diet and went to my doctor's office for PCOS.
Since then, I must not forget I got a new scale that is calibrated right! I am not comparing the same! I was actually 147 when I was totally happy with my weight! I'm letting the scale numbers deceive me even when I'm telling myself measurements are the goal.
Also, my "150" right now is probably due to water retention from my period and new workout plan. I'm basically this "142lb" image I had in the past.
So in a twisted sense, I'm 8 pounds "lighter" than I had "imagined" myself to be. Does that make sense? This is crazy!
