I have been in a 30 Day Transformation Challenge that is from Isagenix. This challenge is almost over. I also just completed a 9 Day Cleansing that Isagenix offers. I am very unhappy with the results. I lost one pound but gained 4" of the 15.25" lost back. maybe I am expecting too much but others are having WAY better results. I'm talking about close to 20lbs results. Friday will complete the whole 30 day challenge and will redo the weight and measurements then as well.
Right now, with about 5 days left I am at a 12lb loss and looks like 11.25" loss overall. I guess I shouldn't be too unhappy on that but I have been doing the right things like eating clean, no caffeine, no sugar, no high fat, and etc...exercising as well. I do have factors that will play against the good I'm trying to do but I would still expect to have a little better results that what I've gotten. So, I shall see what the final numbers are on Friday.
Would love to hear what you all have to say as to how to make it more successful, advice, etc...

so, you've lost 12lbs, in less than 30 days, and you aren't happy with that? can't see that that is going to attract a lot of sympathy.0

12 lbs in 30 days is 3 lbs a week. That's probably about the most you want to lose and still do it in a healthy way (most say 2 lbs a week is a healthy rate).
Not sure how much you were expecting to lose. Most things that promise to make you lose a ton of weight quickly are gimmicks anyway and not something that you can maintain long-term.0 -
Hi! I don't really have any advice, but I wanted to ask you about your Isagenix products. I was drinking one Isalean shake each day for most of the past school year (I teach middle school), and I must say that I wasn't sick one time the whole year! The problem, though, is the cost. I replaced my morning bowl of oatmeal--that probably cost significantly less than a dollar--with a shake that was over $3. I got reduced to 80% this year, so I can't afford the shakes anymore. I should add that I just got over the flu! My question for you is, if you don't mind sharing, how much are spending a day on your Isagenix products? I was only doing the one shake--I can't imagine how much additional products would add up!0

You are right that the products are kind of pricey but I do like them because they are filled with natural things and the taste is better than other good-for-you powders/shakes, etc. For a canister, it is about $43, not including shipping. They say it is for 14 meals (shakes) but if you only do it once a day then you can stretch it for a month. I was following the plan where you do cleanse days and shake days. I have used the short time I've been on using them to try out different products. So, I've spent over a couple hundred but I won't be spending that all the time since there are products that I haven't been impressed with, like the Isaflush. It's a capsule that will help to promote good bowel health. I have a form of IBS and was suggested this might help so I trying it. I will probably try the Isafiber or one other product next time.
If you are interested in looking, you can go to tammylwv.isagenix.com and look around and even order, if you wanted. Hopefully, I've answered your question. If you have other questions, feel free to ask. I don't mind at all.Hi! I don't really have any advice, but I wanted to ask you about your Isagenix products. The only reason I am unimpressed with this right now is because of the things I've done that is to help promote the loss. There are cleansing days that I have done. I'm not complaining about the products, however, because they are filled with natural ingredients that are good for the body. Just don't think the claims are there for people that some have led others to believe. I really did not feel hungry and as a friend and I discussed recently, it did it's purpose of helping to make the transition but not something I will want to always do and a lot of the things I mentioned were part of the 30 Day Challenge.
Also, like I said, I shouldn't be unhappy with the results I've seen...I'm unhappy with what I was expecting because of what I was seeing by others and what was told to me. That's all. Not looking for sympothy as one poster stated.
The whole post talked about being unimpressed more with the challenge. I fully agree with you....you can't expect to maintain if you aren't ready to make it a lifestyle. It's not about dieting. Nearing 40 yrs of age, I'm just hating the fact that no matter what I do to better my body, it seems to fight back. For example, getting staph whiched turned to MRSA and is reluctant to leave.
It was more of frustration, I guess. But thanks for your post.0
