Ok.. don't laugh ... i'm trying to figure out HRM - stands for Heart Rate monitor? .. I'm just guessing..
That's first question..
Second- how do I figure out which one is good- accurate ?
Third- how much money is reasonable to be spent on it.. i mean are the " cheap ones working accurate as well as the expensive ones with the diff. that the exp. have more extra stuff on it.. or are the cheaper ones ' not to trust at all "
Certain brand? model ? .. something i should know or be aware of , what should i be looking for ?
I don't have any clue about this.. Do you wear them only at your workout or all day ?
What is a price i should consider- since now nobody has really money to spend.. I'm looking for a good deal of course..:)
Please help me out

Santa brought me a polar f6. I think they are around $90. I hear the cheaper ones are crap.
This brand was recommended by lots of users here on mfp. I wear it when I exercise only!0 -
I bought the nike imara watch on ebay. Brand new it was $35 with shipping. I love it! And I only wear it when I work out.0

Go to Polar HRMs website. It's great. I explains them all, and you can look which one will fit your fitness goals. Then, check ebay and other places that sell them. Sears in our city right now for example, has the Polar 6-which I think a lot of people have on here have, for 25% off. Polar seems like a real popular one. I bought the Polar 11 from ebay for a descent price. Ebay is a great place to look to just find out different ones, their descriptions, and approx. pricing.:flowerforyou: Go Blue.0

I personally havea MIO www.miowatch.com
its very good strapless system, the only thing ive found and its with all of them is the stop button is facing the wrist way if you wear it on your left hand so when i do pushups it tends to stop my time which is frustrating, so i wear it on my right hand, its harder to get ur BPM but it works
I found a reebok with chest strap the other day for $20 off woot so i bought it too, I needed another one anyway for the wife, we'll see how it does, but i am very happy with MIO and its like $40 -$50 @ walmart0 -
Hey Duke. Ihave a Mio too. I love the straplessness of it, but you have to take your HR often for more accurate calorie counts. The only prob I find with it is sometimes it won't pick up your HR so you have to stop moving and even then it sometimes is touchy. So I'll get the Polar and use it and keep the MIO at the cottage for my workouts there. And it's waterproof till 30m!:bigsmile:0

I have a Polar F6 and I love it. Mine was around $100 but my boyfriend got one for himself for like $50-$60 on eBay - I would check out eBay and see what you can find, you might get one for a steal. I think it was a very worthwile investment, by the way, and I would totally do it again in a heartbeat.0
