today, i'm celebrating a list of things i never thought i would do.

i never thought i would know about, much less care about my stride rate.
...get up early just to make sure i had time to get a couple of miles in on the treadmill that day.
...run four miles.
...for that matter run one mile.
...pay someone else to let me run my guts out for 3.1 miles and actually look forward to it!
...repeat above stated process.
...know what a tempo run or fartlek run was.
...know that it is within my grasp to run much farther than i do right now.
...even consider the possibility of running in a half marathon.
...be considered a runner.
...be considered an athlete.
...have anyone look to me for fitness advice.
...feel so good in my own skin.

and i never thought i would feel so good about all these things that i told myself i would never do!!

what did you think you would never do?

Your list pretty well covers it, but I will add:

    Have gym membership.
    Use said gym membership.
    Enjoy using said gym membership.
Have someone ask me about my "routine", while using said gym membership.
Have someone comment on the "definition" of my muscles.
Get bored doing chin-ups, before my arms run out...
