I have the same problem at times, especially when I am eating very clean. I add peanut butter, nuts, EVOO, and sometimes natural ice cream if I have a lot at end of day! Good luck.
  • Maybe eat allot of your cals before you work out?

I've been buying those Emerald Cocoa Roast Almonds in the Dark Chocolate flavor for just such occasions. 150 calories per ounce (about 1/4 of a cup).

Nuts, trail mix, peanut butter, Nutella, are calorie dense and also have valuable nutrients If you expect to come up short, just add them to your intake during the day. A quarter-cup of nuts or trail mix disappears pretty easily if you nibble on it over the course of a few hours.

If you have calories to spare and want to enjoy a treat along with some good nutrition, make a milk shake out of a half-cup vanilla soy milk (good protein source) and 1/4 to 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream, with a couple of ice cubes to make it thicker if you use only 1/4 cup. You can add a half-tablespoon of Nutella or an all fruit preserve for flavor but the vanilla in the soy milk also enhances the flavor. Made with these portions, it comes out to about 170 calories (50 = milk, 70 = 1/4 ice cream, 50 -= Nutella).

I'm dealing with the same thing here. I did a 5K today. When I work out I find it really difficult to eat more calories. I feel I'm stuffing myself too. I don't know what you have left, but I have 255 calories left and I'll be eating an apple with pb which is 205 calories.

    Good Luck!!

I have the same problem. Ive been trying to drink more calories, I tend to drink mostly water or black tea. So now Ill allow myself that second cup of coffee, or if Im craving a cola I have 1/2 a serving. I have added in more peanut butter, and after I go grocery shopping Ill be getting more nuts, and some avocados for salad and sandwiches, I cook with EVOO most of the time now too.
