Yesterday, I bought a scale. I haven't kept one in the house for a few years because it is too easy to become obsessive about weighing myself.....but I have been working out really hard and eating super healthy, so I had to know if I lost weight. When I weighed myself last night it said 166 (4lbs lost). When I weighed myself this morning it said 161. I know weight can fluctuate day to day...but in the span of nine hours? Has anyone else experienced this?

I weigh 3-4lbs heavier at night, for instance last night I weighed 217, this morning I'm 212.9 - Don't fret over it.
Best time to weigh seems to be first thing in the morning after visiting the toilet, and before breakfast :flowerforyou:

Yes! It's normal to fluctuate right around 5 pounds. I used to weigh myself every night and every morning but there was such a difference in weight that I stopped doing that and now I weigh myself once a day at the same time...preferably mornings!!

I usually weigh a good 3 to 4 pounds lighter in the morning then right before bed.

I was 151 this morning, and I can promise you I'll weight 155 tonight. Every day.

Very common. During the night, expiration evaporates the water in your body, so you're the lightest. During the course of the day, you eat things, drink your water, so by evening, you're heavier. A gallon of water weighs 8 lbs.
