I've just got back from a scan at the hospital where they have diagnosed me with a small hernia (not big enough to wararant an operation), my question is should I stop or reduce the amount of core exercise that I do ? I will obviously ask my Dr the same question but interested to hear from anyone who may have experienced a similar situation...
Thanks
Ian

*disclaimer - what do I know, I'm no doctor... Your hernia is unique to you...
Before I had mine fixed, the only time I noticed it was doing squats with heavy weights. At the time I abandoned lifting for some months until it was fixed.
If I had one similar again... it would depend if I felt pain while doing the core work, if no pain I would continue but carefully, ready to back off instantly when I felt pain.0
