When do you all fit your workouts in? I was doing them at 5am but as the week went on I was so tired I couldn't get out of bed. I have a 2 years old and so she wants to go to bed later now.

I run in the mornings and do weights in the evening. If I can't drag my butt outta bed I do cardio right after the weights. It's easier for me to find the time though when I'm to break the workouts up.
  • I'm not much help because I get up at 5am and do mine. I guess it depends on what your daily schedule is like. You could put in a workout while your little one takes their nap or even while she is awake but busy playing.

I used to work out in the morning at 5 because I am a morning person so I have more energy in the mornings. But I started a new schedule at work so I will be running at lunch time and weight train after I get home from work. I have a 6, 4, and a 17 month. So I usually do weights while they are in the shower. I do resistance band and a some free weights so it's easy to take them in the bathroom, let them play in the water and I get a few reps of weights myself.

I would say keep going at it. You body will soon get use to the change in schedule. I got married and moved an hour away from work. So I wake up at 4:30 now a days. I would love to work out in the mornings so I started changing my alarm clock to 4:15 and soon to 4:00 until I can get use to getting up that early. Luckily we have a little workout room in our house so I don't have travel time.

Thanks. Ya I work from 8:30 - 5 but somes days it's 8-4:30 depends. I feel great when I do them in the mornings. Usually by wed. I am exhausted I can't get out of bed. I was doing them in the afternoon. She would go to bed at 7 and so that gave me perfect amount of time. My husband is a college bball coach so we don't get to see each other a lot. He usually gets home about 6:30-7. I try and make some time for us. Some days he is gone bc of games. I do notice that I give more effort in the afternoon than I do in the mornings. I do like doing them in the mornings bc I get them done. I may start doing them on the weekends and taking a few days off during the week. That may help.
